A few years ago, my husband went through several tests that led to a diagnosis of colorectal cancer. This was a most despairing and fearful time for us. He was referred to the UNC REX Colorectal Division for treatment. There we were met by a most-caring medical team who immediately gave us hope and eased our fears. From the first appointment, surgeries, hospitalizations and follow-up appointments, the medical care and bedside manner from this group were the very best, and for that, we are forever grateful. My husband and I would highly recommend the UNC REX Colorectal Division to anyone faced with a cancer diagnosis.
