Our Surgical Navigators are here to help you coordinate and schedule your surgical procedure. They schedule appointments and procedures for the Colorectal Division at UNC REX Hospital, and they also maintain the schedules for our outpatient surgery centers. In addition, surgical navigators help you obtain pre-operative testing appointments, set up imaging studies, give you pre-surgery instructions and obtain insurance approval.
They work very closely with our clinic staff and providers to help make your journey as smooth as possible, and we value them as a vital part of our team.
